The Sovereign was conceived to showcase the beers and cuisine of Belgium.  To support the concept of a medieval hunting lodge, I created 3 main installations in this large restaurant using wood, brass, and milk glass and playful embellishments.

The upstairs dining room has 2 oversized "deer head" chandeliers that frame the long wooden tables and brass and amber glass sconces in the booths, while the downstairs has a large central chandelier with milk glass shades which are echoed in the bar area where the horizontal shades are suspended from repurposed wood pepper grinders.  The sconces are African wooden bowls refracting the light to accent the metallic wallpaper.
